Simply Grateful

As the Thanksgiving holiday comes to a conclusion, and the Christmas holiday begins, I find myself so very grateful for all that Jimmy and I have (and grateful for two more pounds down).

Life is easy for us in so many ways.

I am reminded of those whose lives are not as easy...the hungry, the homeless, the hopeless.

I pray to my God that they will be strengthened. I pray that someone* will comfort them, lift up their spirits, offer them food or shelter.

*I want to be that someone. I will listen for his whisper to my heart to serve and lift others...and for the opportunity to do so, I will be simply grateful.
